Sports science institutes are deploying wearable biometric monitors that measure micro-level heart rate variability and muscle hydration in real time.

The sensors, which communicate via secure low-frequency telemetry, enable training staffs to adjust individual recovery windows and prescribe exact metabolic replenishments before physiological strain markers appear.

"By tracking internal workload indicators instead of external pace metrics, we are eliminating overtraining injuries entirely," says head coach Sarah Thompson.

Several national olympic committees have integrated this tracking system into their active preparation camps for the upcoming winter games cycle.
